We understand that raising young children is both a life-giving privilege and an exhausting responsibility! We take joy in giving parents the option of leaving their children in a safe place so that they may have a few hours to focus all their attention on our glorious God in the worship service and Sunday school. We want you to know that while your child is being cared for in our nursery we are not only committed to their physical needs, we also take their spiritual needs equally serious! We are convinced that it is never too early to start nourishing and fostering spiritual interest into a child’s heart. Through age appropriate Bible lessons, biblical prayers for each child, and Spirit-led volunteers we aim to introduce each child to Jesus Christ and build a knowledge of God into their hearts. We pray that God would use our efforts to raise children who will become adults who set their hope in Jesus Christ and walk in his ways! We are happy to have the opportunity to minister to your family!

Laying a Foundation

Do you have a spiritual vision for your child? Have you ever considered where you would want your child to be at age 6,12, or 18, spiritually speaking? A house builder must know what the finished structure looks like if he is going to take meaningful steps prior to that. Our vision for the children that God has entrusted to the stewardship of this church is that they would set their hope in Jesus Christ. This is taken from Psalm 78:1-8. One of the most important things that can be done in these foundational years of our children’s lives is to consider the end and start taking meaningful steps towards nourishing the hearts of individuals who will, by God’s grace, set their hope in our almighty God!

Partnering With Parents

Our desire as the church is to partner with you, the parents in the vision of raising our children to set their hope in Jesus Christ. By doing this we believe, we will maximize both the efforts of the church and the home in developing children who will walk with Christ! As parents, you are the primary shepherds of your child’s spiritual development. As the church, it is our desire to partner with you and supplement your calling in any way we possibly can. We are pleased to offer classes (in addition to the nursery), resources, counsel/discipleship, and community. All of these are designed to equip and assist parents in their hugely significant calling of parenting. Please don’t hesitate to ask us!
